    Episode 1: In the Beginning

    And God’s story begins with four simple words: “In the beginning God…” So, let’s start at the very beginning—Genesis chapter 1, verse 1. “Genesis 1:1 says: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” Did you notice who the very first person we meet in the Bible is? It’s God! Before there were people, there was God. Before there were mountains, oceans, planets, or stars—there was God. Before there were whales, puppies, hummingbirds and roosters – there was God! Before there was even an earth to stand on—there was God! And God did something that only God can do. He created something out of nothing. “In the Beginning God created, the heavens and the earth.”
