    Unfiltered! Pilot Episode

You are not alone in loving Jesus! Join Emma and guests for vulnerable, brave and honest conversations that will bless Christian women (and men) to feel seen, heard and understood on their journeys. In this pilot episode Emma is at her most personal ever, as she is joined by ministry pioneer Rebecca King and worship leader Ali McFarlane for a no-holds-barred discussion that all women will immediately identify with - our female bodies, and our struggle to be heard. Any talk of periods, debilitating pain, hormone imbalance, pelvic floors, menopause and other serious gynae issues is usually hushed up in the church. They’re dismissed as too awkward, embarrassing or even shameful to share openly but today you’ll hear Emma, Rebecca and Ali discuss conditions like endometriosis, adenomyosis, and Emma’s upcoming hysterectomy. Why are discussions such as these so frequently absent from Christian circles? And what occurs when women at last feel able to tell the truth about their experiences? Let’s stop feigning that all is well, or hiding behind religious terms to fake it and keep up appearances. It’s time to be honest, overcome shame and learn to talk about the real situations that believers face every day. Let’s not be silent. Let’s be Unfiltered!
