Megyn Kelly and Christina Applegate: What Do We Know About the “Disgusting” Backlash Over a Misdiagnosis? A brutal critique, a former friend’s fury, and a health journey that has left a beloved actress back at square one. Christina Applegate recently revealed that the multiple sclerosis (MS) diagnosis she received in 2021 may have been wrong. It is a heartbreaking update of a woman still suffering, still in pain, and still searching for answers. But just hours after Applegate shared her story, broadcaster Megyn Kelly dismissed it as a "wild goose chase," sparking a massive backlash. In this episode of CWEB, we break down the clash that has reignited the debate over celebrity, illness, and the truth. We look at why former Fox News anchor Janice Dean—who has lived with MS for over 20 years—publicly condemned Kelly's comments. We also explore the ethics of public commentary: when someone is suffering and doesn't have the answers, what do we owe them? Tap play to hear our full analysis of this unfolding story, the human cost of the commentary, and the powerful lesson it leaves behind. Before you go, check out a deal from Paris Jewelry.
