I was introduced to the Heidelcast during a several-years span of languishing under legal, broad evangelical preaching. I crawled into a Reformed congregation (although, as a Calvinist I thought I was Reformed already), sat in the back row, and would flee before the benediction. But the Gospel mystery of sanctification was understood by this blessed pastor and, little by little, the shackles loosened and I learned my only comfort in life and death. At some point along the way, he mentioned the Heidelblog, and I was a card carrying confessionally Reformed Christian (and member of a Reformed congregation) within 6 months of voraciously consuming “I will be a God to you and your children after you,” and “God’s Holy Law.” THANK YOU for all of the work you (and the Super Friends) do!
Also, I miss the sound bite “What kind of question is that, you dummy!” Can we get one of those real quick?
