"I Did Get a Medal", with Peter Mayhew

"I Did Get a Medal", with Peter Mayhew

Peter Mayhew’s generosity of self and spirit far exceeded the size implied by even the most hyperbolic metaphors people have used over the decades.

Recorded live at Dallas Comic Show 2016.

Emilia Clarke & Nathalie Emmanuel live in Houston

Emilia Clarke & Nathalie Emmanuel live in Houston

This is a bonus not-really-an-episode recorded live at Comicpalooza 2019. For context: this Q&A happened after _Game of Thrones_ S8 episode 4 dropped, but _before_ episode 5 aired.

Nathalie Emmanuel came onstage first, followed by Emilia Clarke, who joined her for the remainder of the Q&A.

    “Dr. Bran-hattan”, with Isaac Hempstead-Wright

    “Dr. Bran-hattan”, with Isaac Hempstead-Wright

Isaac (Bran Stark) talks about stumbling his way into acting, the experience of working on the biggest international series in TV history, and what he wants to do beyond the Seven Kingdoms.
Recorded live at Alamo City Comic Con 2018, so this episode contains no spoilers for Season 8 of Game of Thrones. It does, however, spoil things from across all of the first 7 seasons of the show.

"Flirting in Hodor", with Kristian Nairn

Kristian Nairn only had one word to work with throughout his time on Game of Thrones, but he found a way to make the most of it. In doing so, he’s become one of the most-beloved characters on one of the great shows in TV history.

"Space Odyssey", with Keir Dullea & Gary Lockwood

"Space Odyssey", with Keir Dullea & Gary Lockwood

Last year marked the 50th Anniversary of Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey. Stars Keir Dullea and Gary Lockwood discuss the making of the film and the 50-year journey since.

One of the greatest films in the history of cinema was hated by critics at the time of its release. It completely changed the direction of science fiction “space” cinema and cemented the genre as anything but silly, compared to what came before. This episode was culled from a series of interviews conducted over the course of 2018 with stars Keir Dullea (Dave Bowman) and Gary Lockwood (Gary Poole).

2001: A Space Odyssey is now available in 4K/UHD from Warner Home Video. The best way to watch it is on 70mm film. See if your local film society, IMAX, or art house is playing it.

@mknepprath ,

One of my must-listen podcasts!

Always a delight when a new episode is released - great podcast. :)

entertaining show on the entertainment industry

Moisés Chiullan is a man of many interests large and small in a variety of media, and this show is a great outlet for them. In just a month's time, for example, he went from Ghostbusters to Apple's ad style to Cuban filmmakers. Those sure push all of my interest buttons.

If you're a TV/movies. animation, or comic book fan, or interested in the tech for those industries, add this podcast to your queue!

Good Show

This is one of those shows that are hit and miss. Some episodes are great and some are just weird. Nevertheless, I still tune in and listen…unless it gets weird in which case i just delete.
