    Following Jesus Together: Those Beside

    Who is walking beside you as you follow Jesus? We were never meant to follow Him alone. God designed the local church to give us more than a crowd to worship with, He gives us people to walk with. And the people closest to us will inevitably shape who we become: “Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise” (Proverbs 13:20). We need Christ-centered friendships with brothers and sisters who know us, sharpen us, encourage us, and are willing to labor for Christ to be formed in us. Those friendships can’t be forced, but they can be discovered as we faithfully share life with others over time. Find your people, open your life, and pursue Jesus alongside friends who are becoming more like Him, and helping you do the same.     Following Jesus Together: Those Following

    What does God require of me? What is truly good for me? And what is my responsibility to others? Jesus answers these life-defining questions with a call that challenges everything our culture tells us: the good life is found in giving your life away. Following Jesus isn't about pursuing our own comfort or simply growing in our own faith. It's about sacrificially loving others, even when it comes at a significant personal cost. Every follower of Jesus is called to make disciples, investing their lives so others can know and follow Him. God didn't save you just to fill you. He saved you and filled you so you could pour into others. The question is, are you willing to sacrifice your comfort so someone else can experience the life-changing love of Jesus?     Following Jesus Together: Those Ahead

    Who are you following as you follow Jesus? Christianity was never meant to be lived in isolation. You came to faith because someone kept the chain of discipleship going, passing the gospel from one person to the next until it reached you. Now you are part of that chain. God uses people ahead of us to offer wisdom, expose our blind spots, and show us what faithful obedience looks like. Spiritual growth requires the humility to admit we don’t know it all, laying down our pride, and learning from those God has placed ahead of us.     Come, Follow Me: Building Relationally

    Following Jesus was never meant to be a solo pursuit. We were created to know God and to be deeply connected to His people, working together to fulfill the mission He has given us. The Great Commission defines what we do, and the Great Commandment shapes how we do it: loving God and loving one another. Healthy, authentic relationships aren’t optional to the life of the church; they are how the body of Christ grows strong and moves together.     Galatians: Whose Burden Are You Carrying?

    Following Jesus was never meant to be an independent life. Galatians 6 calls us to shed our self-centered independence and become people who are willing to step into the mess, carry one another’s burdens, and restore those caught in sin with gentleness and love. We bear burdens not simply because it’s the right thing to do, but because Jesus carried the greatest burden we never could, taking our sin upon Himself and bringing us freedom. In a world that tells us to look out for ourselves, what would it look like to become a people known for carrying one another?
