Final Words | How to Leave a Godly Legacy for Your Family

What kind of legacy will your life leave behind? In this powerful message, guest evangelist Micah shares a deeply personal story about the final words his father ever heard from him and asks an important question: Will the final words we leave behind match the life we actually lived?Turning to the final words of Joshua in Joshua 24, Micah shows us how to build a life and family around something that will outlast our accomplishments, possessions, success, and even our time on earth. Joshua didn't spend his final moments talking about everything he had accomplished. Instead, he gathered God's people together and reminded them of God's faithfulness. This message challenges us to build our homes around God's story, make His Word a daily part of our lives, faithfully gather our families in church, and intentionally pass our faith to the next generation. We're also challenged to identify and remove the sin that has been allowed to remain in our lives and families. The patterns of previous generations don't have to become the patterns of the next generation because Jesus can redeem families, break cycles of sin, and create a new legacy.Ultimately, every generation has a decision to make. We can't live on someone else's faith. Like Joshua, we must decide for ourselves: “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”And even when we've failed, our story isn't over. The amazing grace of Jesus offers forgiveness, redemption, and a new beginning. We can choose today to build a life centered on Christ and leave behind a legacy that points generations to the faithfulness of God.

Blessing, Temptation & Freedom | What Joseph Teaches Us About Faith

How can you walk in God's blessing, resist temptation, and experience true freedom—even when your circumstances are difficult? In this powerful message from Genesis 39, Pastor Nate Clarke looks at the life of Joseph and shows what it means to remain faithful to God through hardship, temptation, injustice, and seasons that don't make sense. Joseph was betrayed by his brothers, sold into slavery, falsely accused, and thrown into prison—yet through every season, the Lord was with Joseph.Joseph's story teaches us that God's blessing isn't dependent on perfect circumstances. We can find favor with God by faithfully following His Word and find favor with others through diligent, excellent work. But when we're forced to choose between pleasing God and pleasing people, Joseph's example reminds us to choose God and leave the consequences to Him.We also learn from Joseph how to resist temptation. Instead of minimizing or justifying sin, we must call sin what it is, remember how our choices affect others, recognize that sin is ultimately against God, and when it comes to sexual temptation—run from it. Finally, Joseph's story reveals the difference between looking free and actually being free. Joseph's brothers were physically free but remained trapped by guilt and shame for decades. Joseph was physically imprisoned, yet his soul was free because he continued walking faithfully with God. No circumstance, relationship, achievement, or amount of money can give us that kind of freedom. True freedom is found through Jesus Christ.
