Update: I think Moira lost me with this Guy Fieri bonus episode. Look, you’ll never get an argument out of me - MAGA is despicable, conservatives have no backbone and I am 100% team liberals. But by golly this episode proved why liberals are so darn annoying lol. Like Guy Fieri openly opposes the Tate Brothers and Moira immediately dismisses it and is pretty much calling him a liar. Thanks goodness for Adrian, who actually tries to be good faith about this stuff, for saying hey let’s take him at his word here. There is no excuse to be MAGA or part of the manosphere but it seems like liberals like Moira, almost want to dare ppl to join the MAGA cause. Sheesh. Leave Guy alone!!
This is a really enjoyable podcast. For the most part it avoids being overly snarky and maintains a level of thoughtfulness I truly appreciate. However, I find at times a lack of specificity in some of the episodes that can be frustrating. For example, the Tech Vibe Shifts episode about AI was literally the generalized, vague convo I’ve heard from them. The kept saying things like “These companies..,” “These people..,” “These billboards” “Conservatives this or that” without any real info on who “the companies, conservatives, people” were. I may agree with your sentiment but you actually need to name what you are referencing in specifics or you fall into conservative territory where you make claims with no backing. Also…people who go out of their way to hate on Hamilton are so exhausting (I’m looking at you Moira)
