    178 - The Four Investigations

    178 - The Four Investigations

This is episode #178. The topic I have in mind for today is the teaching of "The Four Investigations." This is a teaching that comes from the Yogachara school of Buddhism. According to Yogachara teachings, the key to understanding reality is to understand the mind. There are four investigations we can explore that are intended to help us to have a correct view or understanding of reality.

    What are the two truths?
There is the Truth of how things really are, and the truth of how things seem to be. These are sometimes referred to as Absolute truth and Relative truth. Relative truths are always dependent on HOW we perceive them.

Life changing

Noah Rasheta offers this gift of his years of study and learning in a simple and clear podcast. My anxiety has been profound in the wake of a faith crisis. Therapy has been only marginally helpful and very expensive. Nothing has given me so much hope of finding peace again as these simple healing concepts. Here we have reality rather than “truth” and observation rather than “belief.” You will find no doctrine or controversy here. Just a path to a much needed awakening.

Life changing

Noah is able to share Buddhist ideas and principles that are extremely non-threatening and helpful. I’ve been able to share many of his episodes with people of faith and they have been well received. Noah has a very even temperament and attitude. Each principle taught is another layer opened inside my own consciousness.
Thank you Noah.

Great podcast

I love the way Noah breaks down difficult concepts and makes them simple to understand.
