On your latest episode you asked if quotas are a thing in the police world. Many states have made the practice of quotas illegal and its a very ‘dirty’ concept that many cops want nothing to do with. The word has become something of a curse word in our line of work. Instead there are cops who chase criminals doing criminal things; there are cops who chase the innocent motoring public and write citations (there usually jerks in their own lives) and the vast majority of cops are too lazy to stop someone going through a red light directly in front of them. I pull over A TON of people and make arrests on more criminals than the amount of traffic citations I hand out! Hope this helps!
