Murderer Escapes Prison: Danilo Cavalcante *ON CAMERA*

Just last month, on August 31, 2023, Danilo Cavalcante escaped the Chester County Prison in Pennsylvania after being charged with the first-degree murder of his ex-girlfriend using a butterknife. An interview with his mother about his childhood and word on the streets allege that this may not be his only murder as he allegedly came to America to escape Brazilian law. Today, we’ll discuss his alleged crimes, childhood, escape from prison, two chaotic weeks on the run (with so many creepy sightings), and finally, his recapturing on September 14th, with input from Sydney Overbay, CD (college dropout) and her father Tony Overbay, LMFT, a licensed marriage and family therapist. The Stalking of Tatiana Tarasoff

Sydney and Tony discuss the landmark case of Tarasoff v. Regents of the University of California. The California Supreme Court ruled that mental health professionals have a duty to protect potential victims when their patients pose a serious threat of violence. The case arose from the tragic murder of Tatiana Tarasoff, a former university counseling center patient killed. Despite warnings from one of the center's therapists that the patient posed a serious threat to Tarasoff, the center did not take action to warn or protect her. The court's decision established a legal precedent that has had far-reaching implications for the practice of mental health and the protection of public safety.

Based on the overwhelming amount of feedback from the "Waking Up to Narcissism" podcast, particularly in the form of questions, Tony Overbay, a licensed marriage and family therapist, answers listener questions specifically related to narcissism, narcissistic traits and tendencies, and emotional immaturity in relationships. A percentage of the proceeds of the podcast will go toward helping people in narcissistic or severe emotionally immature relationships receive help in the form of counseling, legal and moving costs, and providing additional tools to help people rediscover their self-worth, and learn how to successfully find their voice, their sense of purpose and understand that everybody has the right to their own opinion, experience and goals out of life.
