The Oscar Piastri Special
The Tailenders go on a ’school trip’ to the McLaren Technology Centre (MTC) to meet Australian Formula One driver and cricket fan Oscar Piastri.
There’s an impromptu game of cricket on a somewhat uneven pitch, Oscar talks about his love of the game and gives the guys a tour of some of the classic McLaren cars on display.
Plus Felix, who has never learnt to drive, gets some tips from Oscar on how to handle a Formula One Car before having a go in a F1 simulator. -
The USA canter to victory
An Emergency Podcast of sorts. The Tailenders assembled last night to react to the USA’s shock win over Pakistan in the Men's T20 World Cup, this just a few hours after recording the podcast in the afternoon and saying how ‘unexciting' the tournament was. Plus we’re joined by Olympic Rowers and Tailenders Tom George and Ollie Wynne-Griffith as they prepare for Paris 2024.

Liiiiiiive from The Oval
The Windy Gantry at The Oval is the location for latest Tailenders as Greg, Jimmy and Felix preview the Men's T20 World Cup. Jimmy outlines his ‘England Starting XI’, Mattchin’s back with his ‘rolled over quiz’, complete with new theme tune and there’s a surprise for Sharky.
-
That’s the gist
More on Jimmy’s retirement, including Mattchin’s list of ’things’ Jimmy can now do. Plus listener emails, a ticket dilemma, theatre reviews and almost a quiz.
