In this episode of Fabulous Destinies, we will delve into the story of a dancer who evolved into a true political icon in the United States. The color of his skin drew the ire of the crowd for a significant part of his career, yet he never ceased to fight for the rights of black individuals. Eventually, he revolutionized the world of classical ballet. His name: Arthur Mitchell. From the streets of Harlem to the White House, explore his incredible journey. The first black man to become a ballet star December 1, 1957. New Yorkers hustle through the icy streets of Manhattan. A crowd gathers around a renowned cultural center. Inside, champagne glasses sparkle beneath the grand chandeliers of the entrance hall. However, this luxury struggles to conceal the harsh political reality of the United States. Since the end of slavery, a cruel divide separates the nation between whites and blacks. Tonight, two brilliant artists have joined forces to create a ballet with a scent of revolution: George Balanchine, choreographer, and Igor Stravinsky, composer. Backstage, Balanchine places his hand on the shoulder of his star dancer. Despite the pressure, the young artist remains at ease. He smiles at Balanchine and nods. [EARLY ACCESS] The Unabomber: the most terrifying mathematician

In this episode, follow the trail of a mathematics genius who led the FBI on one of its longest manhunts in history. For 17 years, he sent parcel bombs from an isolated cabin in Montana, resulting in 16 bombings that claimed 3 lives and injured 23 others. Among his targets were academics, scientists, computer specialists, and airline employees. They all had one thing in common: their involvement in technological development, against which he published a manifesto just before his arrest. According to him, our pursuit of progress would lead humanity to its downfall. His name? Theodore Kaczynski, also known as the Unabomber. From a mathematics genius to the most terrifying criminal, discover his dark destiny. A Tense Arrest On April 3, 1996, FBI agents silently positioned themselves around a small, isolated cabin in the Lincoln forest of Montana. They had to be extremely discreet. Inside the shack was one of the most wanted men in the United States. For weeks, the FBI had been monitoring the cabin, but launching the assault was a challenge. The man was an expert in explosives, as proven by the 16 parcel bombings he carried out over the past 17 years. Therefore, the federal agents waited for the right moment to apprehend Theodore Kaczynski. On that April 3, they managed to lure him out of his cabin using a forest ranger.
