Distressing lack of access to Palliative Care
We all know Palliative Care is a critical treatment for those experiencing life threatening illnesses.
But new data has revealed some harrowing statistics relating to the state of end of life care in Australia.
62% of patients who required specialist palliative care treatment were unable to access it and it is much harder to receive in the bush than it is in the city.
