    Invisibilia Presents: Throughline

Alix presents one of our favorite episodes from our friends at NPR's history podcast "Throughline." For centuries, the United States has been a prime destination for migrants hoping for better economic opportunities, fleeing danger in their home countries or just seeking a new life. But has there ever been a moment when Americans were the ones who felt compelled to flee elsewhere? In this episode, two stories that challenge the idea of who and why Americans sought refuge in other countries.

Daryl 0220 ,

Love you

I’m absolutely happy to find your podcast! Each episode is so beautifully made. Please, don’t stop doing it .

As always touching.

Besides all my love to psychological aspect of the show, the stories, that you are telling to us, are unusual, sometimes heartwarming and sometimes heart-freezing, but always motivating to the deep thoughts and meanings.
Thank you for all your work here, I love it and want more.

Waiting for more!

I've listened to all episodes in two weeks and I loved it so much! (The only thing I didn't like was the Russian Macdonald's story but that's may be because I'm Russian and biased). But apart from that the show is amazing, thoughtful and light at the same time, well researched, and tries to give you the view of the problem from different perspectives. Thank you!
