    US Election #8: Trump the Zionist.

    As is the case with most issues, Trump has been difficult to pin down on the issue of Palestine. While we can safely say he is firmly in the camp of the Zionists, the anger toward Joe Biden has made some question whether Trump might be more likely to bring about a ceasefire to the Israel-Hamas war. In this episode, I examine the available evidence to determine how Trump will likely govern on this issue.

    Chapter #15: Did Lucy Letby Actually Do It?

    “We haven’t got evidence, but we’ve got concerns”. That was how the consultant paediatrician (Ravi Jayaram) described the initial evidence that began this manhunt. An astounding report in the New Yorker magazine has revealed many details of this trial which UK audiences (due to baffling secrecy orders) have been prevented from hearing about. I summarise the problems with the evidence and overall trial here. There is serious doubt about the validity of the conviction. Simply put, this case was NOT proved beyond a reasonable doubt.

    Book Review #12: Scattered Minds by Gabor Maté

    Score: 7/10. This was my most personal and sobering book review to date. This book explores ADHD, from its origins and diagnosis, to manifestations in children and adults. It is incredibly informative for people with the condition or simply those who would like to learn more about it. Highly recommend!     Book Review #11: NEARLY ALL THE MEN IN LAGOS ARE MAD.

    Rating: 8.5/10. This book features a number of short stories (presumably) written to highlight the madness of Lagosian men. Each episode is about 30mins long. Interestingly however, in some of the stories, it is the women, and not the men that are exhibiting mad behaviour. The book reads like a African romantic black mirror. The structure type is refreshing and that helps to keep you engaged with each story. It also means it can be enjoyed as infrequently as you like. You don’t even have to start from the beginning.

    Book Review #10: Atomic Habits

    Score = 9/10. Atomic Habits aims to define the steps to forming and maintaining great habits. Behind almost every success story is a great habit, and habits are formed by consistency and repetition. The book aims to focus on the habit, and not the act itself. It ascribes excellence to exercising disciplining in sticking to a habit. For example, when trying to lose weight, focus on the habit of showing up at the gym at set times.
