Interesting, entertaining and queer

Excellent podcast that sheds light on the often hidden or forgotten queer figures and events of history. The hosts are well researched and bring a nuanced discussion to the table. Though it might be a little unfamiliar at first, you’ll soon learn to love their Australian accents! The sound quality of the first few episodes is not great, but it keeps improving all the time and is now better than most other (non studio-produced) podcasts. Definitely a must listen for anyone curious about queer history!

I love this podcast

This podcast is a must listen to for queers and history nerds alike. Personally, I am a young queer in Sweden with a massive interest in history and as such this podcast just the best thing I have come across as a resource and inspiration and information about my community’s history - something I felt a real loss and shame over not knowing before. I have been listening for about a year now I believe, slowly catching up on the old episodes as well which is what made me write this review. Listening to your episode on Tove Jansson was such a revelation. Everyday since I learnt to read I’ve the mumin comics one strips per day in the newspaper but I never knew she was queer. These kinds of realisations are exactly what I love about the podcast, together with the thoughtful discussion about how modern terms can be applied to historic figures and the critical way in which the presenters evaluate the sources. Keep up the great work!

Too bad...

Interesting topics but your sound is horrendous and you talk to fast.
