    Appointment Fatigue (For when you're just tired of always being at the doctor)

    hi friends! today's episode is a real-time struggle that I've had as of lately. I've been going to so many appointments and it's just wearing me out. it's hard to keep up the energy and strength to advocate for yourself when you're constantly doing it and are unable to replenish that energy. for a long time I felt like all I was doing was going to appointments. sometimes I still feel that way, but I've found a few tips and tricks that lessen the weight of it all for me. I hope you're all able to take away something from this episode. most importantly, I hope what you take away is a deep understanding that you are worth the time and energy it takes to pour love into yourself. I know it's exhausting and sometimes we forget to take care of ourselves because of how demanding our chronic illnesses are. but you ARE worth it. xo, Cass

I talk about how I brought the conversation up to my specialist, what her thoughts were, why it was best for me, what the pain was like...allllll the details! I know IUD insertion is a super scary experience for many, especially those with little to no pain management.
