The injection of vast amounts of capital that is being infused into sports has led to the birth of ownership groups that own multiple clubs and franchises across multiple geographies. These goliath organisations are able to cover the entire life-cycle of sportsperson from their playing career to creating pathways for life after retiring as an active player. Understanding India's New Criminal Laws

India has enacted three new laws to replace its colonial-era criminal laws, marking a significant shift in its criminal justice system. The Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) replaces the Indian Penal Code (IPC), the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) replaces the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC), and the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA) replaces the Indian Evidence Act. This overhaul aims to create a more victim-centric system, addressing terrorism, hate crimes, and mob lynchings while removing sedition. However, the changes have sparked public concern.
