    14/11/2025

    1

How to Move On When You Still Miss Your Ex (4 Hard Truths That Will FINALLY Set You Free)

What truth about the relationship have you been ignoring? What makes that truth hard for you to accept? Today, Jay opens up about one of the hardest things we go through, trying to get over someone we once loved. He reminds us that healing isn’t about pretending we’re okay or trying to move on too quickly. It’s about realizing that what we often miss isn’t the person themselves, but how we felt when we were with them: seen, loved, and alive. Jay gently walks us through why breakups hurt so deeply, how our minds are built for connection, and why finding closure really starts with reconnecting to ourselves. Jay also shares how to stop replaying the past and start finding your rhythm again. He reminds us that healing isn’t about erasing the love, it’s about learning from it. You don’t need to have it all figured out today, you just need to take one small step back toward yourself. Because the real journey after a breakup isn’t about getting over someone else, it’s about remembering who you were before them, and discovering who you’re becoming next. In this episode, you'll learn: How to Stop Romanticizing the Past How to Let Go When You Still Miss Them How to Rebuild Your Life After a Breakup How to Move On Without Losing Yourself How to Remember You Were Enough All Along You are not broken for still feeling; you are human for still caring. One day, the memories that hurt will simply remind you of how far you’ve come. Keep showing up for yourself, because the love you’re searching for begins with you. Session 449: Environmental Racism & Toxic Products Explained

From wellness products, to fragrances, to the haircare many of us grew up using, Black women are routinely exposed to harmful chemicals in products marketed directly to us. So what do we do when our everyday routines are shaped by systems that often put our health at risk? These exposures don’t happen in isolation; they build over time, contributing to serious and sometimes chronic health conditions that are deeply tied to environmental racism at a systemic level. But there are changes and solutions we can implement to curb these risks that contribute to a healthier, longer life.  Here to break all of this down is Dr. Tamarra James-Todd, Epidemiologist and Professor of Environmental Reproductive Epidemiology at Harvard University. Dr. James-Todd directs the Environmental Reproductive Justice Lab, where she studies how chemicals in consumer products and our broader environment impact Black women’s health across the lifespan. Her work not only exposes the inequities in these systems, but puts a focus on empowering communities with the knowledge and tools to reduce risks of harm. Today, we’re unpacking what environmental racism really looks like, how it shows up in the products we use every day, and what it will take to protect Black women’s health. About the Podcast The Therapy for Black Girls Podcast is a weekly conversation with Dr. Joy Harden Bradford, a licensed Psychologist in Atlanta, Georgia, about all things mental health, personal development, and all the small decisions we can make to become the best possible versions of ourselves. Emma Grede: #1 Trick Successful People Use Every Day (THIS Will Open Doors You Didn’t Know Existed!)

What’s one habit that’s helped you succeed lately? What made you decide to stick with that habit? In this special live conversation, at The Theater at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, Jay sits down with entrepreneur and industry leader Emma Grede for a conversation every builder, creator, and business-minded thinker needs to hear. Together, Jay and Emma unpack a challenge that holds so many talented people back, caring too much about what others think. Emma shares the early moments in her career when she stayed quiet in rooms where she deserved to speak, the times she underestimated her own value, and the double standards she had to navigate as a woman in business. This episode is a powerful reminder that confidence isn’t something you wait to feel, it’s something you build through action, decision-making, and showing up for the opportunities in front of you. As the conversation deepens, Emma shares the mindsets that shaped her path, from a kid obsessed with fashion magazines to a visionary leader with a global reach. She breaks down why excellence starts with showing up fully in whatever role you’re in, how competence is the foundation of real confidence, and why chasing “passion” isn’t always the most strategic move. Jay adds powerful reflections on focus, leaning into your strengths, and accepting that you don’t need to be great at everything to succeed. This is an honest and refreshing look at what it really takes to trust yourself, take bigger swings, and grow into the person you’re meant to be. In this interview, you'll learn: How to Stop Caring What Others Think How to Build Confidence Through Competence How to Use Fear as Fuel, Not a Setback How to Become Excellent at What You’re Doing Now How to Set Your Own Standards, Not Society’s How to Start Before You Have It All Figured Out You don’t have to wait until you feel fully ready, fully confident, or fully “enough.” Start where you are, use what you have, and trust that focus, effort, and self-belief will do more for your future than fear ever will.  With Love and Gratitude, Jay Shetty Join over 750,000 people to receive my most transformative wisdom directly in your inbox every single week with my free newsletter. Sales Expert Shelby Sapp: The Simple Sales Framework You Can Use in Work, Money, and Relationships (Follow THIS Method to FINALLY Get The Life You Deserve)

We’re not failing at life. We were just never taught how to speak up, handle rejection, and confidently ask for what we want. Today, Jay sits down with sales leader and entrepreneur Shelby Sapp to unpack why sales isn’t about convincing others, but about understanding people, building trust, and believing in yourself. Shelby shares how the skills that helped her go from door-to-door sales to building a thriving business are the same skills we use every day: advocating for ourselves, navigating rejection, and communicating our value. She reframes sales as a mindset shift, from seeing “no” as failure to seeing it as feedback, explaining why learning how to sell is really about learning how to think, speak, and lead with confidence. Jay and Shelby break down the core principles that make sales applicable to every area of life: identifying leverage, creating real value, keeping things simple, and having the courage to ask for what you want. Shelby explains why people don’t buy products, they buy solutions, outcomes, and relief and how rejection becomes easier when you stop taking it personally. They also dive into the deeper mindset shifts that separate those who stay stuck from those who grow. Shelby challenges the idea that confidence comes before action, revealing instead that confidence is built by doing uncomfortable things repeatedly and overcoming rejection. Jay reflects on how sales skills teach resilience, the ability to keep showing up with belief even after setbacks, and why handling rejection well can unlock opportunities in every part of life. In this interview, you'll learn: How to Sell Without Feeling Manipulative How to Communicate Your Value Clearly How to Handle “No” Without Taking It Personally How to Ask for What You Want (and Get It) How to Identify What Truly Motivates People How to Stop Overexplaining and Keep It Simple How to Create Momentum When You Feel Stuck Progress isn’t about perfection, it’s about momentum. Trust yourself enough to ask, to act, and to keep going. The skills you build today will shape the confidence, freedom, and purpose you step into tomorrow.  With Love and Gratitude, Jay Shetty JAY’S DAILY WISDOM DELIVERED STRAIGHT TO YOUR INBOX Join 900,000+ readers discovering how small daily shifts create big life change with my free newsletter. Optimism, Immunity and the Truth About Burning Fat

This week on The Wellness Scoop, we’re talking about whether optimism can influence immune health, what the science really says about exercising on an empty stomach, and why cabbage is being tipped as 2026’s “it” vegetable. We break down new research linking mindset and immune response, look at the evidence on fasted exercise, fat loss, metabolic health and hormones, and explore the rise of fibre, gut health and fermented foods through the return of cabbage to centre stage. We also dig into the darker side of modern wellness, including the rise of extreme detox trends like blood “cleaning”, and why supporting the body’s natural detox systems remains far more grounded in science. NICK JONAS: The REAL Story Behind a Lifetime of Fame, His Inner Critic, and How Fatherhood Changed Everything

What happens when success arrives before you truly know who you are. How do you learn to quiet the inner critic while becoming a better partner, parent, and person in the process? Today, Jay sits down with Nick Jonas for an intimate conversation about identity, purpose, and the inner work that comes with growing up in the spotlight. Nick opens up about what it was really like starting his career so young, dealing with rejection early on and growing up with the pressure of being labeled “the shy, creative one.” As the conversation unfolds, Nick shares how fatherhood, marriage, and health challenges have profoundly redefined his priorities. He reflects on the vulnerability of becoming a parent, the anxiety that comes with loving someone so deeply, and the grounding practices, movement, routine, and therapy that help him stay present. Through stories of his daughter’s early days, his evolving relationship with faith, and the inspiration behind his new music, Nick reveals how creativity became both a refuge and a mirror, allowing him to heal, grow, and speak more honestly than ever before. Jay and Nick discuss what it truly means to be a good partner, a present parent, and a kinder version of yourself, especially when life feels overwhelming. In this interview, you'll learn: How to Turn Life’s Hardest Seasons Into Creative Fuel How to Stay Grounded When You’ve Lived Life in the Spotlight How to Be a Present Partner Instead of a Defensive One How to Navigate Anxiety Without Letting It Define You How to Reconnect With the Fearless Version of Yourself How to Build Emotional Resilience Through Routine and Movement How to Show Up as a Better Parent by Healing Yourself First Wherever you are in your journey, know that it’s okay to slow down, ask better questions, and choose compassion over criticism. Divorce Lawyer James Sexton: #1 Conversation Every Couple Should Have Before it’s Too Late (Use THIS 3-Step Script TODAY!)

What do you need from a partner that you haven’t been getting? How can someone show up for you in a way that meets that need? Today, Jay sits down with renowned divorce attorney and author James Sexton for a conversation that redefines what it means to love and be loved. With over twenty-five years spent guiding couples through heartbreak and separation, James has witnessed both the beauty and the brutality of human connection. Together, he and Jay explore the paradox of marriage: how something that begins with so much hope can unravel through silence, misunderstanding, and unmet needs. James shares that the greatest threat to relationships isn’t cheating or money, it’s disconnection: the slow fading of curiosity, gratitude, and presence that turns partners into strangers. Jay and James invite listeners to look past the fairytale version of romance and into the real work of partnership. They talk about how we’re taught to plan weddings rather than marriages, and why the most meaningful moments come from small, steady acts of care, not grand romantic gestures. Whether it’s remembering to replace a partner’s favorite granola or reaching for their hand without being asked, James shows that a strong marriage isn’t about avoiding conflict, but about staying close even in the uncomfortable moments. He reminds us that love isn't for the faint of heart. It’s an act of courage, one that asks for honesty, vulnerability, and the discipline to keep showing up, especially when it’s hardest. The conversation becomes less about divorce and more about what love is really made of. Jay and James uncover how relationships can serve as mirrors, revealing our insecurities, our longing to be seen, and our deepest fears of unworthiness. They remind us that to truly love another person, we must also learn to love ourselves, flaws, imperfections, and all. In this interview, you'll learn: How to Stay Connected in Love How to Keep the Spark Alive in Marriage How to Recognize When Disconnection Begins How to Argue Without Breaking the Bond How to Rebuild Trust After Betrayal How to Talk About Difficult Topics with Compassion How to Choose Courage Over Comfort in Relationships Whether you’re married, single, healing, or starting over, this episode is a masterclass in emotional intelligence, offering timeless wisdom on how to nurture connection, protect what matters, and find courage in the vulnerability that love demands.  With Love and Gratitude, Jay Shetty Join over 750,000 people to receive my most transformative wisdom directly in your inbox every single week with my free newsletter.
