    The Field Broke Tommy's No. 1 Rule For Daytona

    The Door Bumper Clear crew is back to break down a wild weekend of NASCAR racing, from Ryan Preece punching his ticket to The Chase to the chaos that unfolded at the end of the race. Freddie, Tommy and Eric are joined by Regan Smith to dive into the latest superspeedway package and debate whether NASCAR needs shorter, more frequent stages to keep drivers from riding around saving fuel. The crew also breaks down why the first stage looked so much like old-school Daytona, what NASCAR can do to make the racing even better, and why the sport may be closer than ever to getting superspeedway racing right. The guys also celebrate Ryan Preece's incredible playoff-clinching win and discuss just how much the victory means after the sacrifices he made to keep his racing career alive.     Kyle Larson & His Spotter Only Seem To Fight At New Hampshire

    Kyle Larson finally joins Door Bumper Clear — and he brought his spotter Tyler Monn with him. The guys get into Larson’s frustrating winless season, his wild weekend bouncing between Cup and sprint cars, and what it’s like working with Tyler after a last-minute change landed them together at Hendrick Motorsports. Larson also explains why he thinks NASCAR needs to stop babysitting wet-weather racing and let teams make their own calls on pit road. Plus, Larson breaks down racing SVG, the skills he’s picked up from watching the Supercars star, the Indy 500 double, Connor Zilisch’s future at Hendrick, and why Corey Day fans might need to trust the process.     Saturday night short-track racing leads to another round of Monday morning debates in the studio as Noah Gragson and Zane Smith join DBC for another fantastic episode. Even-Year Logano is back on the rise in the championship standings after grabbing another trophy in Richmond, while Kyle Larson somehow made it to Knoxville in time to compete in a weather-affected doubleheader that actually worked out in his favor. Everyone has an opinion on Dale Jr.’s proposal for a 10-driver Chase field, and Noah and Zane weigh in with their thoughts on who’s the toughest driver in the field to pass.     Door Bumper Clear is back with Freddie Kraft, Tommy Baldwin, Karsyn Elledge and Spire Motorsports crew chief Kevin “Bono” Manion to break down another busy week as NASCAR returns to Iowa. The crew digs into the Iowa race weekend, including the strategy, passing, and how difficult it was to get around the leader in the Cup race. They also get into NASCAR’s new stage caution rule, why Freddie thinks NASCAR may have fixed the wrong problem, and the bigger issue of how long stage cautions have become. Tommy and Bono sound off on the Truck Series, from inspection and body rules to the potential move to single-lug wheels and the cost of constantly changing the rules. Freddie Kraft makes his triumphant return from vocal rest to the microphone and brings along with him the winner from North Wilkesboro, 3-time Cup Series champ, and father of ... a lot of kids — Joey Logano. We start the show off talking about Joey's season, the points format change, Daytona rules updates, and everything from NASCAR's weekend in North Wilkesboro. In Spot On, Spot Off, we cover: Alex Bowman & Tyler Reddick's pit road mishap Will Joey Logano make the Chase? The NOAPS field needs to race at North Wilkesboro next year...     Tommy Gives Hocevar An A+ & Rajah Caruth Talks Path To The Playoffs

    The DBC gang is back in studio again today after an early Monday morning finish to a thrilling Cup race in Atlanta. Karsyn Elledge, Tommy Baldwin, and Eric Brennan are joined by JR Motorsports wheelman Rajah Caruth to talk through all the headlines from Trucks at Lime Rock to Cup at Hot-lanta. Rajah dives into what his season’s been like split between the No. 88 and No. 32, his chances at making The Chase, and what it’s like having Dale Jr himself come over the radio and give him some advice in the middle of the race. Tommy finally has nothing egregious to say about Carson Hocevar’s driving after The Hurricane scored another Top-5 finish after nearly winning the Cup race. Karsyn explains how she wishes the JR Motorsports drivers had worked closer together at the end of the O’Reilly race, but Allgaier still got them the beer toast anyway.
