LISK CAUGHT?

Since four bodies were initially discovered on Gilgo Beach more than a decade ago, their killer has eluded law enforcement...until now. He is also the primary suspect in the death of a fourth woman and perhaps many more. Host, Chris Mass, who chronicled the gruesome case in the first two seasons of "LISK: Long Island Serial Killer" speaks with Senior Producer, Shannon McGarvey, about what how the presumed LISK was identified, what we know about him as a person and where his prosecution will go from here. www.liskpodcast.com www.twitter.com/liskpodcast www.instagram.com/liskpodcast Learn more about your ad choices. The Case Against Rex (Part 1)

In order to arrest Rex Heuermann in connection with at least 3 of the murders in the "Gilgo 4" case, law enforcement officials first had to gather and analyze massive amounts of information. From gathering internet search records to comparing the location of cellphones and gathering DNA from a discarded slice of pizza, officials knew that they would need a mountain of evidence before they took Rex Heuermann into custody. Host, Chris Mass, speaks with a former homicide detective from the New York City area about what steps were most likely taken. S1 Ep6: Chief of Deception - Season Finale

More than ever, the victims families and the public wanted answers and a killer found. A dubious shift in Suffolk County politics though hindered the investigation. Why did it take their murders to make people take notice? This episode looks at the stories of two unique women who met similarly untimely fates.
