Good Stewardship: A Christian Entrepreneur's Perspective

Jesus then says, if you have not been faithful in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches? This parable highlights the importance of being faithful stewards of the resources God has entrusted to us, including all of our finances and time. To be good stewards, it is important to recognize that everything belongs to God, seek God’s guidance in decision making, use our gifts and resources to serve others, and invest in eternal rewards. Planning for Christian Entrepreneurs

DC and Ashton discuss Proverbs 16:3 and its implications for Christian entrepreneurs. The Hebrew word for 'commit' in the verse means to roll away, give, and trust. In order for a Christian entrepreneur to successfully commit to the Lord whatever they do, they must have humility. Ashton suggests that this means putting God in charge of all work. The hosts also emphasize the importance of seeking God and His guidance as it pertains to plans and actions. Ultimately, they remind entrepreneurs to lean on God, and He will establish their plans. The conversation is about how to make plans that are in line with God's will and truly serve a purpose. It is argued that if someone is not in charge, their plans won't matter, regardless of how great they think they may be. In order to succeed, the plans must be connected and submitted to God's will. Additionally, success isn't always measurable, and sometimes it is our hearts which can guide us to determine if the plans are successful. This is seen by looking for signs of peace, rather than stress. Finding Focus to Achieve Your Goals and Grow Your Business

DC and Ashton discuss the importance of focusing, finding clarity, and direction. They discuss Proverbs 4:25- 27 which encourages people to keep their eyes looking forward and to carefully consider their paths. They point out how easy it is to be sidetracked by social media and other distractions, and how difficult it can be to stay focused on the task at hand. They emphasize the importance of staying focused on your purpose and not being swayed by other things that may not be in alignment with it. There are four potential problems that can arise if we do not focus, including a lack of clarity, difficulty in knowing what we should be doing, and a lack of purpose. DC mentioned that the biggest reason for this lack of clarity is due to not seeking God first, and instead searching hard instead of seeking Him. The speaker encouraged listeners to seek God first and to focus on tasks that align with His will for our lives in order to be productive and to achieve the purpose that Christ has placed for us.
