Healing Through Movement with Craig Maltese

Craig “Sheffy” Maltese isn’t your typical fitness personality. With more than 45,000 hours of personal training and leadership roles at top gyms—from Gold’s Gym Venice to Equinox NYC—he’s seen the fitness industry from the inside out. But his story goes far beyond strength and aesthetics. In his memoir A Life Measured in Sessions: Sex, Fitness and Self-Destruction—now in development as a scripted TV series—Craig exposes the chaos beneath his success: the addiction to validation, the illusion of perfection, and the lifelong process of turning pain into purpose. After stepping away from fitness, he began consulting for recovery programs and organizations like the Malvern Institute and Valley Forge Military Academy, using movement as a bridge to healing.Raw, self-aware, and unapologetically honest, Craig’s voice cuts through the noise. He’s not selling redemption—he’s living accountability.
