Is Donald Trump Really a Fascist?

We discuss what fascism really means, where the term comes from, and how Trump’s rhetoric, governing style, and political movement compare to historical and modern examples. From attacks on democratic institutions and the press to strongman politics and loyalty tests, we separate analysis from outrage and ask what actually matters as Americans head into another high-stakes election cycle. We also have some fun with the humiliating boxing matches for both Andrew Tate and Jake Paul over the weekend.   👕 **Merch** made in the USA & union-made: https://findoutpodcast.com 📬 Subscribe to bonus content: https://findoutpodcast.substack.com  📱 Follow us everywhere: @FindOutPodcast   📣 Share this episode & tag us #FindOutPodcast   📥 Send us feedback and tips: hello@findoutpodcast.com

Lawfare Daily: Civ-Mil Relations: Where Are We Now and How Did We Get Here?

Loren Voss, Public Service Fellow at Lawfare, sits down with Kori Schake, senior fellow and the director of foreign and defense policy studies at the American Enterprise Institute, and Carrie Lee, senior fellow with the German Marshall Fund's Strategic Democracy Initiatives. They discuss how they assess a healthy civil-military relationship, the current state of civil-military affairs, potential unlawful orders, and what we should watch going forward. Lee and Schake outline the frameworks they use to assess civil-military relations in the United States and how to think about unlawful orders and an “unprincipled principal.” Both Schake and Lee agree that the military should not bear the burden of being the solution; fixes must come from civilian leadership in the executive and legislative branches. The group concludes by identifying five indicators everyone should watch going forward to indicate the system isn’t functioning as it should.  To receive ad-free podcasts, become a Lawfare Material Supporter at www.patreon.com/lawfare. Brown Shooting Fallout: Lies on X — Epstein Redactions

This week, host Corey Brettschneider, a Brown University professor, and co-host John Fugelsang begin with the latest confirmed developments in the Brown University shooting—and the parallel storm of disinformation on X that spread during the investigation: false accusations against a transgender student and a manufactured narrative about motive. We break down how these claims circulated, why they’re dangerous, and how to separate verified reporting from rumor—without naming private individuals or repeating unverified allegations. Next: Congress votes to release more Epstein-related files, but the initial disclosures arrived heavily redacted from Attorney General Pam Bondi. What was released, what may still be withheld, and what Congress can realistically compel next. Plus: controversy around 60 Minutes after reports that a segment involving El Salvador’s CECOT prison was delayed amid accusations of political pressure. We close with an end-of-year rundown—key lessons from our Trump deep dives in 2025 and what we’re watching in 2026. Release note: We’re sharing this episode a day early due to the Christmas holiday. Listener note: This episode includes discussion of gun violence.

Epstein Files Make Trump Allegations — The DOJ Wants Them Ignored

What unbreakable ties between Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein are finally surfacing in the latest document flood? On this explosive episode of the Tara Palmeri Show, guest host Jim Acosta and investigative journalist Tara Palmeri dive deep into the chaotic release of nearly 30,000 additional Jeffrey Epstein files just before Christmas. The discussion uncovers startling details including Trump's documented flights on Epstein's plane (many more than previously known, some alongside Ghislaine Maxwell), a disturbing letter from Epstein to Larry Nassar referencing Trump's alleged preferences, multiple victim accounts naming Trump alongside other high-profile figures, ignored subpoenas to Mar-a-Lago, and the DOJ's defensive statement dismissing claims as "unfounded" without clear evidence. The conversation explores the timing of the disclosures, questions about redactions and incompetence, the reality of Epstein's sex trafficking network, and the ongoing impact on victims treated as collateral damage. What do these latest revelations mean for accountability in the Epstein case?
