今回はハロウィン特別企画ということで、あのいかれた家族です。

当時#アダムスファミリー のウェンズデーに心撃ち抜かれた少年は私たちだけではないはず。

２時間があっという間に感じるブラックユーモア溢れるコメディですが、今改めてみてみると社会的なメッセージを含む傑作だったことが見えてきます。

笑えるだけがコメディじゃない。

笑いの先に社会をすかしみて、少しウィットのある余韻を残すのが良質なコメディかもしれない。

そんなことを考えさせられるハロウィンの夜でした。

まあ皆さんが聞く時にはもうハロウィン終わってるんですけどね。

Hey everyone, it’s Mako, your podcast host.
This time, we’re celebrating Halloween with that delightfully deranged family — The Addams Family.

Let’s be honest — we weren’t the only ones who fell hopelessly in love with Wednesday back in the day.
It’s a pitch-black comedy full of morbid wit and charm, the kind that makes two hours fly by in a blink.

But rewatching it now, you start to notice something deeper:
behind the laughs, there’s a surprisingly sharp social message.

Comedy isn’t just about making people laugh — it’s about holding up a mirror to society and leaving that faint aftertaste of irony.
That, I think, is what makes good comedy.

Anyway… by the time you’re listening to this, Halloween’s probably long over.
But hey, who says we can’t stay a little spooky all year round? 🎃
