    EP17: Why Can’t We Do What We Know Is Good for Ourselves?

    EP 16: Why Being "Authentic" Is Not a Sales Strategy

    “Be authentic” has become the most tossed-around and overused clichés in the world of business and sales. On a daily basis I hear about how we should be genuine in our sales and selling endeavors. Programs, podcasts, books, webinars, and two-day conferences devoted to teaching people how to sell authentically abound. Gurus suck people in by shouting and touting, “Follow me on the path to closing more sales by being yourself and selling with authenticity.” Authenticity is not a sales strategy. This buzzword is a hyped-up way of saying be real, genuine, truthful, direct, honest, open, sincere. When did that become a unique approach? Isn’t that what we were supposed to do all along? Authenticity is not some innovative new business strategy. Being sincere is not a fresh and modern sales ploy. Being honest in the sales process is not a shocking concept … at least, it shouldn’t be. In this podcast, I am diving in deep into how people can sell in a way that feels more natural and less sleazy because I see this big need for doing sales in a different way, I myself have felt that need deeply and that made me dive into selling in a way that's fun and natural using the talents and gifts that come natural to you.     EP15: What does Authenticity have to do with your Marketing?

    I often get asked how one can attract more clients to work with within their business. And not just any clients but dream clients, clients that give energy and that are a dream to work with.     Being authentic builds our confidence but it also requires some courage to be authentic!  So how do we actually become more authentic in our business? And why would we want to?     EP13: Finding the Flow: Growing into Your True, Authentic Self

    “When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be.” ~Lao Tzu In today's podcast I talk about the one thing we must learn to experience spiritual progression, namely flow. What misguided visions of yourself do you hold?  What constraints have you placed around yourself to impede your own evolution?  What must you let go of to become who you might be? Because if we learn to let go and surrender, we experience flow and that will lead to your true, authentic self and finally living dat rewarding and fulfilling life. When you find your authentic self and understand your inborn personality traits, you can come to recognize your natural strengths and weaknesses, became aware of your true likes and dislikes. And learn what puts your brain in flow and  what you need to do to experience pure joy.     Staying on task can be difficult, but it can be particularly challenging when you are surrounded by constant distraction. In today's always-connected world, diversions are nothing more than a click away. Focus & Concentration are always a challenge for the Highly Sensitive Person, so today I want to talk about why that is and give some useful tips on improving your mental focus. First we are going to Assess Your Mental Focus and we talk about the process behind attention and distraction. Then I talk about distractions and how to eliminate them [Shocker: Not all distractions come from outside sources.] After that I talk about ways to limit your focus so you will become better at focussing. [And how this can reduce your stress].  I also talk about why it is important to live in the moment and I give you some techniques to help you with that. I also talk about mindfulness and how this can benefit your focus & concentration. And I share with you some more techniques that will keep your mental focus sharp and your performance high when you really need it.
