Such a great podcast full of interesting and well-contextualized history. One minor ask. Please refrain from using the “mmm,” “right,” and “mmhmm” sounds while your interviewees are speaking. Its distracting and sounds like an insincere show of active listening—especially when not immediately followed by further discussion by the sound-maker.

I’ve listened to many episodes and love the information but particularly liked the recent 1865 episode and the discussion on the paradigm shift in the political parties and how we might be going through another shift now. What a fascinating assertion!

I absolutely loved the latest episode on Peggy Arnold. The “deleted scenes” from history had me gasping along with Dr. Price. I’ll be thinking about Hamilton picking peaches while Benedict escapes and how Peggy and Benedict compare to “bad Felicity” and her spy husband in the Americans for awhile.
