    What Was Never Said: to my friend that passed away after we fought - the courage to be seen trying & triggers w. Dr. Avi

    Sometimes the stories that shape us the most, are written by the words we never got to say. Today my friend Dr. Avi Patel (@doctor.avi IG,  ⁨@doctoravi⁩  youtube) joins me to share a story he's never gotten to share about triggers, resentment, the stories we tell ourselves about who we are and ultimately how clarity builds love and respect in friendships, even when we don't agree with each other. He shares the story of an argument that brought him to clarity and respect with a dental school friend before he tragically passed.     Sometimes the stories that shape us the most, are written by the words we never got to say.  Welcome to the Just A Quick Pinch Podcast summer series, What Was Never Said - where I interview guests about the ex mentors & bosses, previous partners, & friendships that faded, and the words they never got to say. We unpack why we avoid these hard conversations, what they say about us, and what we learn from the things we never got to say.  Today I'm sharing my story of a really hard experience that became a great lesson during dental school. This is a story about building your confidence and holding your head high, pushing through self doubt, and learning the importance of clear communication.
