The Momentum Podcast

How do I create more time? How do I get organized so I can finally relax and enjoy my life? How do I improve my energy? How do I ask for help? How can I be more patient with my kids? How can I be more present? How can I find time for self-care? How do I help my child who is struggling with his/her mental health? How do I make time for a girl’s night out? How can I find balance in my life? How can I improve communication with my spouse? If you’ve ever asked yourself (or Google) any of these questions, then this show is for you! The Mom-entum podcast aims to serve overwhelmed Moms who struggle to find balance. It’s a place for Moms to find solutions to problems and get support all along the way. As they say, “it takes a village”. Many of us feel like where is the village? We feel like we have no help. We feel like we must do it alone. And although we are never alone, we can’t even go to the bathroom without a kid infringing on our privacy, we ironically feel so lonely at times. The Mom-entum podcast bypasses the small talk and gets right into the real struggles Moms face every day. We talk to real moms who are deep in the trenches as well as the ones who have been there and have come to share what they’ve learned along the way. Each week, I’ll introduce new ways of thinking and discuss tangible, actionable tools that you can implement to simplify your life and promote peace and joy in your home. Go from treading water to finally finding your flow in motherhood.

When Your Life Doesn't Look Like You Expected...

Have you ever looked at your life and thought, "This isn’t what I wanted"? Maybe you're living in a different place than you imagined, doing work you never planned on doing, navigating challenges you never saw coming, or grieving a version of life you thought you'd have by now. In this episode, we explore why that thought—"my life wasn't supposed to look like this"—can create so much unnecessary suffering and keep us disconnected from the life that's actually happening right in front of us. You'll learn: Why "my life doesn't look like I expected" is a thought, not a fact • How resisting reality keeps us stuck and drains our energy • The difference between honoring grief and living there • Why acceptance creates more freedom than resentment ever will • How our thoughts shape our emotions, actions, and results • What it means to trust God's timing when life isn't unfolding according to your plan • How to find a better-feeling thought that helps you move forward This episode is an invitation to stop arguing with reality, release the pressure of how life "should" look, and begin creating from where you are right now. Because maybe your life isn't off track. Maybe it's unfolding exactly as it needs to.   Resources: • The episode that explains how to process emotions: Are You Addicted to Stress Hormones?  • Click here to schedule your free routine strategy call. Do You Want to Be Right, or Do You Want to Be Happy?

Have you ever found yourself in an argument, frustrated with your spouse, your kids, or even yourself, convinced that you're right and they’re wrong? In this episode, we explore a powerful question inspired by the teachings of A Course in Miracles: Do you want to be right, or do you want to be happy? I share what I've been learning through my recent study of A Course in Miracles, a spiritual self-study program focused on moving from fear to love, blame to responsibility, and conflict to peace. Together, we'll explore: • Why our need to be right often creates unnecessary suffering • How our thoughts—not other people—create our emotional experience • The difference between judgment and understanding • Why letting go of control can create more peace in your relationships • Real-life examples from parenting and everyday mom life If you've ever felt stuck in conflict, frustrated by someone else's behavior, or exhausted from trying to control things you can't control, this episode will offer a new perspective and a practical question you can carry with you into your everyday life. Because sometimes the path to more peace isn't proving your point—it's letting go of the need to. Enjoy the episode, and if it resonates with you, I'd be so grateful if you'd take a moment to rate and review the podcast. Your support helps more moms find the show and join us on this journey toward calmer, more intentional living.
