Stephen and Mark are under no illusion that a pile of money will ever deliver ultimate meaning in a man's life. As I've listened to every episode over the last four years, I've been encouraged, entertained, and challenged to lean evermore into the identity to God has given me has a son, a husband, and as a father, following Jesus. The advice is sage, the banter appreciated, and the spurring on worth listening to. A reduc resource to label up every important area of life, which sometimes even includes money.

Hey just wanted to say I appreciate you guys a lot! My husband listens to your episodes every week I’d say and then he sends them to me to listen to also. I like when we hear what the other is listening to so we’re on the same page. We are both really grateful for a podcast like this one where we can learn so many different ways on how to incorporate and instill family vision, values, & habits to raise our children to know, obey, and love Christ. We currently have a 2 year old and 3 month old, so learning different ways of doing things from you all and those you have on your podcast has been such a blessing to our family. We did your vision course (it was his Valentines Day gift to me a couple years ago after our first was born… and yes, to those reading and wondering I did in fact want that as a gift haha). We loved it and highly recommend it! Also, appreciate that you guys don’t sugar coat things. I wanted to also say as a mom that’s usually short on time, I’ve found that in this season it’s been beneficial for me to do short devotionals from the Bible app on parenting specifically. I was wondering if you guys were planning to ever do something like that or maybe your wives would even consider doing something like that. I think Christian husbands and especially wives could benefit from something like that. I’d be more than happy to share it with other people too if you ever do! :) May God continue to bless and use you and your families for His glory!

A friend recently shared this podcast with me, and I have really found the discussions to be entertaining and beneficial to listen to. I don’t always agree with every conclusion that they arrive at, but I enjoy listening to how they try to apply Biblical wisdom to today’s financial issues. It’s worth subscribing to!

Usually I listen for the eye rolls, but I can’t hold my tongue after the “affording kids” episode. These guys always talk about the “biblical lifestyle”- big families, dad works- which probably resembles many listeners. These guys have working wives (small business owner and med field) and two kids each. Two kids is great, but don’t say kid number five is easy if you’re not on kid number three. One actually told me God told him to stop having kids- while in a conversation questioning if I was a believer. Did God tell you to get fired from a mega church too?
