Amazing

The weaving of personal experience and historical facts make this a great way to learn about Gettysburg. If you have been to the battlefield you can use this to plan your next visit. If you have not yet been use this as inspiration to see first hand the three greatest days in American history.

Un-be-freaking-lievable!!!

I’m a history nerd. But most history podcasts bore the snot out of me because the presenters aren’t good. This podcast has raised the freaking bar for history podcasts. It’s remarkable to me that this show was produced so well by a hobbyist. Meanwhile big corporate podcasts don’t come close to this. The other thing I love about this is that it’s not just two experts sitting around showing off what they know. People like that don’t get that they’re the old, stuffy, exclusive way of doing history: the way that turns people off to it. Addressing Gettysburg is obviously seeking to remedy that. And it looks like it’s paying off. I follow them on IG and FB and they provide entertaining yet insightful and educational material. You want to get young people into history? Do what AG does.

Refreshing

This podcast is a unique find in the world of online history. It really comes alive through the genuine inflection in the narration and the sound effects, with enough pause to digest the action. The most colorful take on the history of Gettysburg I have found so far - I would recommend it for both adults and interested teens. Only complaint is the new episodes can't come fast enough!
