Great content, Poor production values

From a content standpoint, this is a great podcast. There are a variety of guests from across the political spectrum and I learn a great deal from each episode. Josh is a great host and asks smart questions. What I particularly like is that I cannot tell what political views Josh holds; he is a fair, even-handed host that asks great questions. From a content standpoint, it is one of the best political podcasts available.

Unfortunately, the podcast is marred by horrible production values. I listen to podcasts while exercising or doing housework. Of the dozen or so other podcasts I listen to, the podcast is clear and well-recorded. This podcast is frequently close to unlistenable if there is any background noise. Josh is usually much quieter than his guest and I often cannot hear the majority of his question since his volume is so inconsistent. On one of the podcasts at the end of 2018, Josh was completely inaudible for half the podcast. It was clear no one listened to the episode before posting it.

If the production values were fixed, this is undoubtedly a five star podcast.
