LOVE this podcast!
All Bad Thins is a very well-produced podcast. I’m super fussy about sound and theirs has sounded pretty professional from the get-go. I only discovered them in the past year or so and spent time bouncing around in their catalog and it’s never cringey to go back to the older episodes unlike many other podcasts. Both hosts are well spoken which also helps. I also adore the occasional cats in the background.
Generally I hate podcasts that stray from the main subject and have banter (i.e. MFM) but for some reason for this podcast it actually works for me. It may be my streak of dark humor or it may be the topics discussed but I actually enjoy the off-topic tangents!
This podcast covers all kinds of bad things from man-made disasters to natural disasters with a few off the wall topics thrown in. While the vast majority are dark topics there are also the occasional lighter topics thrown in to balance the darker topics. The gore level is pretty minor though some tough deaths are discussed so if that keeps you away from true crime this may be better suited to your taste.
They go pretty into details with the topic of choice for the week but don’t often get super into the nitty gritty. If you are looking for that kind of deep dive you may enjoy Disaster Area to learn more about topics you hear about here first.
Note: if the fake tan man child president is your version of a god, you probably need to keep scrolling.
Annoying and political in random places. I’m so tired of true crime and disaster channels that have to insert their tired opinions everywhere. I’ve given this podcast a chance twice and I can’t even finish one episode. But I know my leaving is a good decision when the five star reviews accuse other reviewers of being both male and misogynistic , that tells you everything you need to know.
No go for me
Should be a non biased podcast with facts not opinions. Save yourself the time and don’t listen. I didn’t come here for politics.
