The subjects are great, but the hosts…
Listen, I actually do like this podcast. The subject matters are interesting and not usually well covered by others. However, the hosts go off on a tangent just about every other sentence, to the point where I literally can’t remember where we are in the timeline or even what the main topic is. Please if you keep putting out episodes, cut the intro down a bit and leave out some of the minute details. We don’t need to know the history of the country in which an accident took place. Stay on topic a little more instead of commenting on every tiny detail, and maybe make David more of a co-host who is also telling the story instead of “comic relief” if you want to call him that. Sort of like how the ‘stuff you should know’ podcast guys do it. I like you both and I like the topics, but I find myself skipping 15 seconds ahead constantly. And even then you’re still discussing how to pronounce the same word and making references to a previous episode that I haven’t listened to.
Overall I still recommend this podcast if you like these kinds of subject matters.
Don’t listen to the criticism!!
I love the podcast, the banter, the knowledge, the sarcasm, the wit etc!! Everyone seems to be a critic about every dang thing it’s almost laughable at this point. If they think it’s that easy to put on a podcast I would like to see them try it just once so we can critique them. Or better yet, just don’t listen!!!
These two co-hosts just don’t flow well together. They don’t play off each other and what they’re saying, and it always feels like one of them is trying to dominate the conversation. The content is fun, at least.
