AMR Trains: Ryan Hall, Family Man
In honor of Father’s Day this month, we’re bringing on one totally hands-on dad, none other than Ryan Hall. Yes the Ryan Hall, as in the current American record holder in the half-marathon. Since retiring from running in 2016, Ryan has become quite the uber-dad and husband, supporting his wife, pro runner Sara Hall, and their four daughters, whom they adopted from Ethiopia in 2015. In this podcast, you’ll hear Ryan share about:
Why he doesn’t force running on his kids
The various hats he wears as Sara’s coach-slash-husband
His emotional journey to fatherhood and creating a chosen family
His big goals for the future (hint: it involves a mountain and a rowing machine!

AMR Trains: Adrienne Martini Runs a Naked 5K
Taking one for the vicarious living team, Adrienne Martini bared her buns—and most everything else—in the Bouncing Buns Clothing Optional 5K. On this entertaining podcast, she bares, among other things:
the impetus behind getting out of her comfort zone;
why she opted to wear a sports bra. (Hint: It wasn’t all for support!); and,
whether or not she’d do it again.
Here's Adrienne's race account, which interweaves the story of dropping her oldest at college for the first time.

Customer Reviews
Listener for life!
Loving your show! No matter the guest, I am always captivated. Your easy going, conversational style interviews allow the listener to get to know the person and the athlete/ coach etc. Loved the Boston series as well! Adrianne Haslett's interview was fantastic!
Mostly enjoyable
It gets a bit repetitive over the years and the ads are way too much. But I mostly enjoy the topics and hosts, particularly SBS.
Thanks for having Allison on your program
Recognizing women runners are not all white or CIS gender or heterosexual is an important step forward. One foot in front of the other moves us all.
