What’s better than laughing and having fun

Ep:215 made me want to write a review. I have been following Gretchen for awhile. I saw her speak at Ramit Sethi’s conference. I have continued to be a fan. Oh yah the reason why that episode made me laugh is because Elizabeth mentioned that the producer has been anticipating Gretchen’s visit by tidying up the office. That is so relatable for me and my family. We get comfy in our house, but the minute family is making an announcement that they are coming by ... suddenly it’s a mad dash.

My happy podcast

Where else can one find a podcast all about what makes your heart sing? I guess lots of places, but this one is my favorite. The little life tricks that are administered weekly, seem so much more palatable without the psycho babble that pepper so many other talks on the topic of happiness. The theme song alone makes me happy every no repeat Wednesday.

My treat

Gretchen talks about giving yourself healthy treats in life. This podcast is my treat. I look forward to listening to it and pair it with my not-so-fun subway rides. I’ve been listening for years and love this podcast. Gretchen and Elizabeth are honest, smart, kind, and so relatable. They give real life “advice” but acknowledge it may or may not work for everyone. I use their happiness hacks daily and annoy my friends and family by saying, “As Gretchen Rubin says...”. I appreciate their honestly about real-life happiness stumbling blocks and things that zap our energy. I am forever grateful for these two inspiring women. I also love Gretchen’s cute laugh!
