6 *Insane* Actor Tricks Doctors Won’t Tell!

Forgive my clickbait review title.

This podcast is amazing because Audrey’s heart for helping fellow actors is amazing. Not only does she give hard-and-fast strategies and tactics for leveling up in your career, but she validates and gives encouragement about the intangible, emotional, headspace-y, real-life stuff actors all face. Plus... she informs actors about the Guild.

Sometimes I give her out-loud pushback when I’m listening, even though she can’t hear me; sometimes I cry because I feel so heard.

I appreciate you, Audrey! Love the podcast!

THANK YOU!!!!

I had seen a friend or two posting about this podcast and decided to give it a try and I am SO HAPPY I DID!!! I am currently non-union and trying to create the opportunity for myself to join SAG-AFTRA/AEA. I'm also a new dad so I was grateful I found the episode where Audrey interviewed Juan Monsalvez. I'm so lucky to have a wife that understand and supports my career and I'm HUNGRY to get to the next level so I can support my family more and help save for that forever home. Audrey if you're reading this, if you have any advice at all, however small, about getting that SAG waiver or networking with casting directors for someone who, at the moment, doesnt have the full benefit of SAG resources, I'd love to hear from you! Maybe there's a specific episode of non-union to SAG stories? I'll find it anyway if it's there! I was trained in acting at the Actors Studio at Pace University and your recent conversation with Ashley Platz is inspiring me to wear my conservatory training more proudly than I think I have been, while also not assuming oppornuties will show up just because of it.

Keep up the great work!

Success is the Process

I knew nothing about the biz until I listened to Audrey break it down, one episode at a time. No where else can you find such candid, charming, frustrating heartbreakingly honest, inspiring, uplifting, motivational, facts about the mountains and valleys, books and crannies of this business. Audrey is absolutely brilliant in her knowledge and infectious in her generosity of spirit. Listen, listen, listen, so much wisdom of experience here to hear.
