The Takeaway is gone, and this is back to being hosted by Jane Bournemeier. It's a good length and offers brief additional analysis on major stories. My primary gripe is the production schedule is totally unpredictable. Please stop saying it's a "daily podcast" in the introduction when it often goes a week+ without a new episode.

This is one of the best Podcasts in my iPod (and I have too many). I make a point to listen to it everyday ,,, or to save it if I am going on vacation and can not update daily. Those that complain about updates should make sure their setting are set to update hourly. I have had as many as three per day. Excellent work .. should be a model for the future. I was afraid clips from The Takeaway show had replaced it. The host is excellent! Small gripe about the file never having art work or tags but content-wise, this is an exceptional podcast.

This is an excellent podcast WHEN it is available. It has been six days since the last update, and I find that these lapses are all too frequent.
