Love the pod
Just listen to the pod with the read lab. I’d love to here his option on batwing feathers. I started shooting 2 inch batwing feathers this year and I really like them.
I think Dirk is one of the best elk hunters out there, and he has proven his abilities through all kinds of tough situations. Fantastic guest for your podcast, and I think Nate is very passionate about traditional bow hunting as well. So this episode fits in so well with hunters who enjoy chasing elk, and the stick bow side just brings so much more enjoyment to elk hunting! Great job!! Just need more episodes, can’t get enough!
Failure as a Man?
I picked the “Should You Be A Traditional Bowhunter” episode for my first time listening to this podcast and was seriously disappointed. I do not believe the host really understands hunting or what he’s doing in the woods. He made two comments that revealed a lot about his mind set. The first was that hunting with a traditional/bare bow will not make you a better hunter. His qualification of this statement was ‘If you were a better hunter you’d kill every time you went out.’
Using this same criteria and applying it to him as a husband and a man it’s obvious that he is a failure at both.
I won’t be wasting any more of my time on this podcast.
