Scrooge in Gotham: Batman Noel
On this very special Christmas episode, we cover a retelling of “A Christmas Carol” that has become a modern classic in its own right: Batman Noel. In standard Bat Lessons fashion we go way too deep, and cover the history of the original novella and bring in a Charles Dickens expert to school us.

I Found My Favorite Podcast
About a year ago, I was writing an essay about Batman and Robin for a literature class and wanted to know the history of the creation of Robin. I searched Batman and Robin History in podcast and found this show. I absolutely loved the Robin episodes and how in depth the research was. I’m still a listener today and it makes my day when I see Bat Lessons released a new episode. I’m a big Scarecrow fan, so I’m hoping an episode about him comes out soon!
Riddle me this, riddle me that…who’s afraid of the big black bat?
Thoroughly interesting content, even when you batarang far off topic. There’s so much to learn I think it requires (and is worth) more than one listen…just like there’s more than one Robin 😉. I’ll keep suggesting your podcast to others as long as you keep the Bat Signal lit! Best wishes to you two caped crusaders. 🦇
Great job
Love it, great history and passion.
