    Exploring ”FOPO”

    Exploring ”FOPO”

Tara got curious about a term she heard recently - "FOPO", or "the fear of other people's opinions" so we thought we'd have a chat about it.

Maybe you might find yourself in this topic as much as Bec and Tara did!

    Minimalists and Collectors Co-habitating?

    Minimalists and Collectors Co-habitating?

This week we're talking about when you live with someone that's on the opposite end of the clutter spectrum to you.  You might be a real chucker living with a collector, or you might be a crafty collector living with a minimalist.

Can it be done without too much conflict? We think so, and we'll tell you how.

Thank you to everyone for listening, and for engaging with us in our Facebook group - it's so lovely to interact with people other than just ourselves about the episodes.

Enjoyable & down-to-earth

I’ve listened to about a half-dozen of these episodes so far. The short length and conversational format go down easy. Although they’re professionals and I’m learning a few things, it’s more like listening to contemporaries on the same journey I am vs. being lectured. What sealed it for me was their review of the new The Minimalists doc. They said everything I’ve thought (though The Minimalists are great, and I’ve learned from their experiences). Tara & Bec are great to listen to while I clean and declutter.

Desperately needed this

I’ve seen a decline in my ability to stay organized. I have a neurological condition that has impacted my executive function skills. It is one thing to know that but it is an absolutely beautiful thing to hear it expressed!! I knew I wasn’t a hoarder and now I know I’m an avoider and I get overwhelmed!! And decision-making, forget about it!! I’ve only listened to one episode, but rest assured, this is a podcast I can listen to more than once during my long commute to and from work! I feel empowered knowing that I’ve been validated and I am not a capital H hoarder:-)
