    Red Elephant baseball coach Chan Brown joins Adam and Katie B. talks state of the program including his team's march to tops in the region standings after a 1-9 start to 2026.     Behind the G talks state basketball quarterfinals, empowering female athletes and GHS track

    Behind the G co-hosts Gainesville High School Athletic Director Adam Lindsey and Sports Information Director Katie B. Davis talk the Red Elephants run through the state quarterfinals, and the atmosphere in Davis-Hill Gym, while welcoming in guests Christina Lecoeuvre and Deon Williams. Lecoeuvre, Gainesville's volleyball coach, recently began a monthly series of seminars aimed at informing and empowering Big Red's contingent of female athletes. Williams, who serves as both an assistant football coach and co-head track coach, joins the show to make a big career announcement while updating listeners on the state of Gainesville track and field.

    On this week's episode of Behind the G, Gainesville High School's athletic podcast for Red Elephants by Red Elephants, co-hosts Adam Lindsey and Katie B. Davis welcome in head boys soccer coach at GHS Elie Vivient, assistant girls soccer coach and former US Women's National Team member Tara Koleski, and swimmer Colden McKay who competed in four events at the state meet last weekend at Georgia Tech.
