    What a Waste - Hereditary (2018)

    First off: Dex is extremely apologetic that this episode was so delayed, and they have no excuse but that the movie is scary and editing is overwhelming sometimes. Now, for our delayed Halloween special: Hereditary, the debut project from Ari Aster. A family drama disguised as a horror movie that is as emotionally devastating as it is dreadful.     Dentata - Teeth (2007)

    Content Warning: Rape/ sexual assault, religious trauma, purity culture, castration, explicit discussion of sexual topics. It's crazy what purity culture (and some genetic mutation) does to a mf. In this episode, Dex and Summer discuss the 2007 cult horror Teeth, about a high school girl who realizes she has a terrifying (but pretty helpful) adaptation. Let's explore some genital horror and analyze this narrative as a coming of age story, a rape revenge story, and a modern interpretation of a classic Greek myth.
