    The solution to socialism is a return to morality

    If we want America to stay free for decades to come, it's not the political world that matters most, but rather the spiritual world. Founders warned that America's government would only stay limited in scope and the nation's liberties would only remain intact so long as the citizens were moral and virtuous. And taking morals and virtues from one's own heart and mind is a recipe for disaster -- as we've seen in this growing secular, growing Big Government society. The solution to socialism is to elect those who serve with humble hearts, fully aware that America is a nation of individualists who take their marching orders from God, not government. Carter Wrenn, longtime political strategist for the GOP, speaks about the roots of liberty and the direction Americans need to walk to preserve freedom.

    Abortion even more evil than you know

    Everybody by now knows that Planned Parenthood has engaged in some pretty horrific acts, even more horrific than aborting babies. Can you say harvesting body parts? But wait, it gets even worse. Seth Gruber has taken a deep dive look into the beginning days of Planned Parenthood, the statements and actions of Margaret Sanger, who started the organization, and at the links -- the oh so many links -- of Sanger and PP with some very wicked, evil, despicable organizations, individuals and movements. And after reading his book and watching his movie, what's clear is this: The depths of evil of the abortion industry is truly demonic.

    Let the spiritual awakening dawn

    America needs a great awakening -- a spiritual revival to right the course away from God and back to godly governance. Some church leaders even say we're in the midst of a great awakening. Are we? That may be a point to debate, but what's irrefutable is that the Founders warned us that the Republic they gave us would only last so long as the people of the nation were moral and virtuous -- and that where secularism grows, so, too, tyranny. This is the dark path America has been walking for some time. Gina Gleason with Real Impact and Calvary Chapel Chino Hills in California, has been fighting to get churches more involved in politics and culture for years and she says she's seeing a lot of quiet Christians become louder and more involved in recent times. This is good news for America.

    A better way to stop abortions

    America sees hundreds of thousands of abortions performed each year, and this is a tragedy. And some of those women, no doubt, would not want to have their abortions if only the men in their lives stepped up and made the right remarks at the right time and in the right tone -- in other words, if the men in their lives vowed to be there for them throughout the life of the child. But as Roland Warren says, men have been told for too long now that a woman's right to choose an abortion is none of their business. So the sad and sorry situation has become: abortion is a woman's issue. But truly, it's not. It's actually a religious issue and a matter for the church and a matter for the family. If we want fewer abortions, we need to press forward the idea that women are not alone in their decisions on whether or not to birth their children. And men need to do better jobs of stepping up and assuming their responsibilities.

    Lies of the left leading to lost trust all around

    Americans are growing weary of all the lies of the left, and it's having a dramatic effect on the level of trust placed in our systems. This suspicious nature is actually a good thing, though, because it means Americans are awakening to their foundational principles, which are rooted in the concept of trust, but verify -- and then demand accountability. If only the news media weren't so filled with open liars and Marxists, though.     More Christians running for political office, please

    One of the questions that persists among Christians is whether or not they should run for political office. And to that -- a resounding yes. The reason America is in such a moral decay with a political world that's overburdening the average citizen is that Christians have been far too silent on matters of governance. Meg Weinberger is seeking a Florida state seat -- and has an interesting story about what led her to run for office. More men and women of faith could take a page from her story and do similarly. It would help save the nation from Marxists.
