    The Destruction is Really a Vessel

    Rebbe Nachman teaches that the center of the universe is rooted in the revelation of the Infinite Light that shines into the world through the central point in Jerusalem, specifically the Foundation Stone in the Holy of Holies. Creation unfolded when a ray from the Infinite Light entered the primordial hollow space and struck this center point, from which the entire world expanded outward, similar to how a body develops from the navel or how a plant grows from its central stem. Midrashim describe the world spreading in all directions from this point, portraying the flow of divine nourishment descending like an umbilical cord that sustains all existence. Even after the destruction of the Beit Hamikdash, this spiritual center remains active, and the world continues to receive both chayut—basic life-force—and shefa—abundant blessing—from this source. King Solomon’s extraordinary wisdom in knowing where to plant every fruit and vegetable reflected his deep understanding of how creation is rooted in this central point and how divine sustenance flows through it into the world.     Unifying the Opposites

    The Red Heifer at it's root is the uniting of the running and restraining of the intellect - 2 opposites in on unity - unified in Hashem's Unity.     The Light of the Crowns

    In Parshat Ki Tissa, the Torah describes how the Jewish people lost the two crowns they received at Mount Sinai when they declared Naaseh v’Nishma—“We will do and we will listen.” Reb Noson explains that these crowns correspond to the Keter, the gateway through which a person receives Hashem’s Infinite Light. The Keter works through setbacks that push a person back so his mind can settle and properly receive the light. The sin of the Golden Calf occurred when the Jewish people could not endure the setback of Moshe Rabbeinu’s delay and fell into despair, blemishing both the crown of action (Naaseh) and the crown of desire (Nishma). Afterward, Moshe Rabbeinu moved the Tent of Meeting outside the camp, teaching that when a person loses direct access to the Keter, he must reconnect through the Tzaddikim who carry the light of the crowns. Just as Mordechai in the Purim story was not accepted by everyone despite being the true leader of the generation, those who truly seek Hashem sometimes must step beyond the status quo to find the Tzaddikim who reveal Divine light. Ultimately, these crowns will be restored with the coming of Mashiach, when the Infinite Light will once again shine openly upon Am Yisrael.     Remembering the 12 Tribes

    In Parshat Tetzaveh, the Torah repeats the names of the twelve tribes on both the shoulder stones and the Choshen of the Kohen Gadol, teaching two dimensions of Divine remembrance. The shoulder stones represent the burden of Torah, reward and consequence, and the daily struggle of Am Yisrael to fulfill the mitzvot. The Choshen, engraved with the tribes and the Avot, represents the light of the Tzaddikim and the power of simcha tamid—the ability to remain connected to Hashem whether ascending or descending. Through the Avodah of Yom Kippur and the contrast with Achashverosh’s misuse of the eight garments, we learn that true joy belongs only to Am Yisrael, and that remembering who we are—children of the twelve tribes—defeats Amalek’s voice of despair and activates redemption.     Drawing From the Center of the Universe

    The destruction of the Beit Hamikdash and the story of Purim reveal that true simcha comes from the revelation of the Infinite Light, which cannot be contained in this world and therefore requires a vessel through which it can be experienced. The downfall of the ten sons of Haman in a single moment reflects the unity of this Infinite Light overpowering forces that opposed the rebuilding of the Temple and the joy it represents. Creation itself was formed through a ray of Divine light drawn into an empty space, with Jerusalem as the central point where this light is most revealed, and the Foundation Stone as its channel into the world. Even in exile, this light can be accessed through connection to tzaddikim, whose spiritual power reflects the light of the Beit Hamikdash, which is why their passing is considered comparable to its destruction. Simcha is therefore not merely emotional happiness but attachment to Divine unity, and the Land of Israel—especially Jerusalem—provides unique access to this Infinite Light despite its challenges, fulfilling the teaching of **Rebbe Nachman** that true joy begins by connecting to this spiritual source rather than remaining in mourning or despair.     Doing Out of Faith vs. Intellect

    Parshat Parah - which follows the joyous light of Purim - is the power to nullify the impurity of death, which is the essence of atheistic and skeptic philosophical ideology promoted by those who doubt Hashem's authority always trying to seek to understand everything with no place for emunah.
