#120 Lindsay Hurst: Start CHANGING now, with Dr JOE DISPENZA'S Work

This summer, Lindsay Hurst returns to Bridging for the beginning of a brand new series on transformation.   After our first conversation together, many people reached out with questions about change, personal growth and why transformation can sometimes feel so difficult even when we genuinely want it.   In this first episode, we explore one of the most important questions people ask:   Why do some people truly change while others keep returning to the same version of themselves?   Drawing from more than a decade immersed in the work of Dr. Joe Dispenza and NeuroChangeSolutions, Lindsay shares practical insights, observations and tools that can help you understand change on a deeper level and bring it into everyday life.   In this episode, you will learn about:   • Why people often fall back into old patterns • What keeps people emotionally attached to old versions of themselves • The difference between understanding transformation and living it • What people who successfully change tend to do differently • Why change can sometimes feel unsafe to the body • Practical ways to bring the work into everyday life • How lasting transformation actually happens   This episode also marks the beginning of a new summer series where we will explore topics such as abundance, relationships, triggers, emotional patterns, self-worth and navigating change in today's world.   🎙️ Host: Özlem Özkan ✧ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/ozkanozlem/ ✧ Website: https://www.ozkanozlem.com ✧ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/ozlemozkan/   👤 Guest: Lindsay Hurst ✧ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/lindsayhurst888/ ✧ NeuroChangeSolutions: https://neurochangesolutions.com/

#119 Özlem Özkan: The Way You Speak to Yourself Becomes Your Life

In this episode, I explore something we all do every single day…   the way we speak to ourselves.   Not occasionally. All day.   And very often, we underestimate how deeply those inner conversations shape the way we feel, behave, respond, and move through life.   I explore how our nervous system responds to our inner voice, how subconscious patterns are formed early in life, and why it’s not only the words that matter… but the emotional state behind them.   Inspired by the work of Joe Dispenza, Bruce Lipton, Andrew Huberman, Zig Ziglar, neuroscience, and everyday life experiences, this episode explores the connection between self-talk, emotional states, energy, stress, relationships, and the way we experience reality itself.   Because sometimes what we call “life happening to us”… started in the way we were speaking to ourselves.   In this episode, you will explore • How self-talk influences the nervous system • Why the body responds to the way we think and speak • The connection between subconscious programming and inner dialogue • Why emotions matter more than repeating positive words • How emotional states shape behavior and relationships • The subtle ways negative self-talk affects daily life • The relationship between energy, perception, and synchronicity • How supportive self-talk creates a different state of being   🎙️ Host: Özlem Özkan ✧ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/ozkanozlem/ ✧ Website: www.ozkanozlem.com ✧ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/ozlemozkan/

#113 Özlem Özkan: The HIDDEN TRUTH About LOVE and ATTACHMENT

In this solo episode, I explore the difference between love and attachment, and how many of us learned to confuse the two.   I reflect on how the idea of love is often shaped by stories, culture, and early experiences. The belief that someone completes us, that love should feel intense, or that we cannot live without the other. Over time, these ideas can lead us to attach, rather than truly love.   Drawing from personal experience and insights from The Way to Love by Anthony de Mello, I share how attachment often comes from fear and dependency, while love creates space, freedom, and respect. What looks like love on the surface can sometimes be a quiet form of holding on.   This episode is an invitation to look at love more honestly. To notice where you may be holding tightly, and where you can begin to allow more space. And to gently explore what it means to love without losing yourself.   In this episode, you will explore   • The difference between love and attachment • How cultural and social stories shape our idea of love • Why attachment often feels like love, but is rooted in fear • How dependency can replace genuine connection • What it means to love with freedom instead of control • A simple question to reflect on your own relationships   🎙️ Host: Özlem Özkan ✧ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/ozkanozlem/ ✧ Website: www.ozkanozlem.com ✧ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/ozlemozkan/
