Bring Backup is a weekly rewatch podcast about California teen noir Veronica Mars. Longtime Veronica Mars fans Sam NeSmith and Meg Lindsay will be watching and discussing every episode of the show, beginning with the mystery that started it all, the murder of Veronica’s best friend Lilly Kane.
Lord of the Pi's
We're back with Season 3, Episode 8, Lord of the Pi's! In which Sam hates everything and convinces Meg to hate it all too!
3.07 Of Vice and Men
Today, we are discussing Season 3, Episode 7, Of Vice and Men. And despite the mystery of the week being a little flat - the case of the missing sully - this episode features one of the more unforgettable scenes of the entire series.
I can summon the feeling of watching drugged Veronica stumble around a parking garage in my sleep. This one keeps me awake at night, for sure.
3.06 Hi, Infidelity
Oh no this one has Keith Mars making BAD DECISIONS!
3.05 President Evil
Today, we are discussing Season 3, Episode 5, President Evil and it’s a late Christmas gift for Sam because Weevil’s back! Sadly, Veronica treats him like trash this episode. And Wallace struggles with Mechanical Engineering.
It's Halloween on the episode and Christmas at the time of recording – what a mind F!
3.04 Charlie Don't Surf
This week on the pod, Veronica gets way too cozy with her frat brothers, Logan gets very, very sad, and Sam and Meg love Diane Ruggiero!
3.03 Wichita Linebacker
No Wallace this week - what?! Not cool. But we do get Armie Hammer and some questionable clues and investigations.

This podcast has gotten me through this pandemic, truly. I get so excited when I see a new show drops. They have a great balance of loving the show while looking at it critically from a 2021 perspective.
Best VM podcast
These ladies do it perfectly. I listen to another VM podcast where the hosts are actually getting paid/do it for a job and they don’t even come close to Bring Backup. I’m going to be genuinely sad when the finish up the third season. I hope that whatever they do next is something I watch!
podcast where people who think they are good at talking can rarely get through a sentence without saying “like” one to several times.
Constant giggling followed by explosions of raucous laughter never gets old, either.
