20: August 2026 Month Ahead Astrology and Tarot

August 2026 Forecast: “Total Eclipse of the Heart” Tarot + Astrology (Two Eclipses, Venus in Libra & More) Sarai Johnson and Meredith Holley introduce their podcast Cauldron Her Daddy and share an August 2026 forecast themed “Total Eclipse of the Heart,” dedicated to Bonnie Tyler’s memory. Sarai’s tarot spread—Emperor, Eight of Wands, Hermit, Death, Knight of Wands, Devil, and an overall Two of Pentacles—focuses on building supportive structures, managing overwhelm, accessing inner wisdom, grieving and transforming old patterns, igniting passion-driven change, releasing oppressive systems and inner critics, and maintaining balance. Meredith then outlines key astrology: Lughnasadh (Aug 1), a total solar eclipse in Leo (Aug 12) and a partial lunar eclipse on the Pisces–Virgo axis (Aug 27), plus notable transits including Venus into Libra (Aug 6), Mercury into Leo (Aug 9) then Virgo (Aug 25), Mars into Cancer (Aug 11), long void-of-course Moon periods (Aug 10; Aug 28–29), and Venus beginning its pre-shadow for an October retrograde (Aug 31), emphasizing rest, integrity in relationships, and practical self-care. 19: What is Sexology?

What is Sexology? On Cauldron Her Daddy, hosts Sarai Johnson (somatic sexologist and witch) and Meredith Holley (astrologer, human design reader, and witch) explain what sexology is and how somatic sexology differs from clinical sexology and sexological bodywork. Sarai describes her coaching approach—focused on nervous system regulation, embodiment, self-trust, consent, communication, and releasing shame—rather than diagnosis or therapy. They discuss how purity culture and rape culture shape sexuality through gendered scripts, how mismatch and rejection affect relationships, and why “normal” amounts of sex and cultural standards can obscure real needs and boundaries. Sarai emphasizes sovereignty, exploring gender/sexuality/relationship styles (including monogamy, polyamory, and relationship anarchy), and seeing relationships as flexible rather than a sunk-cost obligation. They close with ways to work with Sarai (saraijohnson.com) and Meredith (fourthcupastrology.com). 00:00 Welcome and Topic 00:54 What Sexology Is 03:51 Shame and Pleasure 11:49 Consent and Communication 16:31 Rejection and Mismatch 24:12 Somatic Self Trust 28:59 How Sessions Work 36:20 Purity Culture Defined 45:40 Consent and Cultural Myths 48:58 Apps Versus Real Life 50:50 Identity As Spectrums 56:48 Demisexual Attraction Stories 01:00:07 Sexuality And Liberation 01:05:40 Polyamory And Relationship Anarchy 01:12:06 Normal Is A Construct 01:18:34 Knowing What You Want 01:23:36 Sex As Healing Work 01:27:31 Is Sexology Right For You 01:31:02 Next Steps And Resources Work with Meredith: fourthcupastrology.com Work with Sarai: saraijohnson.com

17: Ethical Shit Talk--Jenny Mollen and Toxic Boymom Culture

Ethical Shit Talk: Boy Mom Culture, Jenny Mollen Backlash & Parenting Without Enmeshment On Cauldron and Her Daddy, Sarai Johnson and Meredith Holley discuss the backlash to Jenny Mollen’s Mother’s Day writing and a photo captioned “Your eldest son is the most toxic man you’ll ever date,” examining how “boy mom” and “girl dad” culture can normalize misogyny, gender essentialism, and parent-child enmeshment. They argue that joking about dating a child and competing with a child’s girlfriend crosses boundaries, can echo grooming dynamics, and reflects emotional dependence on children for validation. They contrast this with accountable parenting: respecting children’s sovereignty, teaching consent and privacy, modeling repair after conflict, and supporting adolescents’ relationships without projecting adult needs. They also touch on divorce, grief, generational trauma, and resources for support via Sarai’s coaching and Meredith’s astrology/human design readings. 00:00 Welcome and premise 00:27 Ethical shit talk rules 01:45 Who is Jenny Mollen 02:51 Jason Biggs battery 06:00 The viral boy mom post 07:35 Disturbing vs funny 10:46 Purity culture parallels 14:54 Boy mom enmeshment 18:17 Misogyny and male approval 20:38 Gender essentialism critique 22:32 Backlash and grooming concerns 30:40 Trauma cycles and nuance 33:30 Jenny responds to backlash 37:54 Kids aren't your healing 40:31 Boundaries Break Cycles 43:07 Emotional Incest Dynamics 52:01 Consent Talks By Age 58:35 Repair After Rupture 01:08:04 Grief Divorce And Support 01:13:57 Astrology Transits And Wrap Work with Meredith: fourthcupastrology.com Work with Sarai: saraijohnson.com

16: Incubating Revolution: July 2026 Month Ahead Tarot and Astrology

16: Incubating Revolution: July 2026 Month Ahead Tarot and Astrology In this episode of Cauldron Her Daddy, Sarai Johnson and Meredith Holley share a July 2026 month-ahead astrology forecast and a “You Say You Want a Revolution” tarot spread focused on inner revolution and its collective impact. Sarai pulls Temperance as the month’s theme (alchemical balance amid extremes) and the Oyster as an animal guide (patience, inner treasures, sharing the “pearl”), then reads cards highlighting burnout and productivity culture (10 of Wands), sustainable methodical change (Knight of Pentacles), endurance paired with enjoyment (9 of Wands crossed by 9 of Pentacles), complicity through joylessness (Page of Cups) and accountability (Justice), practical review and pivots (7 of Pentacles), collective emotional care and embodiment (Queen of Cups), and breaking oppressive patterns and systems (The Devil). Meredith then outlines key transits and lunations: Mercury retrograde in Cancer, Jupiter into Leo, Cancer new moon (July 14), Aquarius full moon (July 29), a volatile Mars–Uranus conjunction around July 3–4, and a rare supportive outer-planet alignment mid-month encouraging transformative social change, ending with invitations to act steadily, rest, and be courageously “too much.” Fifth Spirit Tarot Wild Unknown Tarot 00:00 Podcast Intro 00:22 July Revolution Theme 01:21 Temperance Tarot Theme 04:23 Oyster Animal Spirit 06:57 Ordinary World Burden 09:02 Steady Future Vision 13:18 Endurance And Enjoyment 15:12 Complicity And Joy 17:53 Justice Accountability 20:47 Tools And Care 26:16 Devil And Agency 30:41 July Astrology Begins 31:00 Cancer Leo Shifts 34:30 July Lunations Overview 38:29 Early July Tensions 39:53 Chiron Taurus Wounds 40:41 Mars Uranus Fireworks 42:44 Small Steps Temperance 44:26 Revolutionary Daily Habits 45:49 Sun Saturn Reality Check 47:10 Neptune Retrograde Notes 48:17 Venus Enters Virgo 49:53 Cancer Cazimi Clarity 50:44 Relationship Freedom Check 51:57 Cancer New Moon Ritual 54:15 Rare Outer Planet Web 56:55 Casting Spells For Change 59:46 Leo Season Shift 01:01:21 Mercury Direct Integration 01:04:07 Late July Courage Experiments 01:06:21 Flirt Club Full Moon 01:08:11 Be Yourself Change Systems 01:13:46 Wrap Up And Resources Work with Meredith: fourthcupastrology.com Work with Sarai: saraijohnson.com

    15: Demons, Spirits, and Entities

Demons, Spirits, and Entities CW: This episode talks about suicidal ideation. If you or someone you know experiences thinking that is self-harming, please access medical support and remember that in the United States, 988 is a resource for friends, family, and support people as well as people experiencing suicidal ideation. In this episode of Cauldron Your Daddy, hosts Sarai Johnson and Meredith Holley explore “demons,” spirits, and entities as metaphors for intrusive, self-harming thoughts, emphasizing personal sovereignty, boundaries, and separating identity from thoughts. Both share experiences with religion, spiritual sensitivity, and entities, and Sarai discusses her history of suicidal ideation, her brother’s death by suicide, and reframing harmful thought patterns through ongoing “weeding” practices, somatic presence, and seeking help. They cite CDC 2021 statistics, note higher risk groups, distinguish medically assisted end-of-life from suicidal ideation, and encourage therapy, medical care, and emergency resources, alongside astrology and human design as tools for reconnecting with the self. 00:00 Podcast Welcome 00:24 Content Heads Up 02:13 Demons as Thoughts 07:21 Religion and Control 09:34 Body Based Framework 11:02 Sarai Childhood Stories 18:20 Meredith Childhood Stories 23:32 Shutting Down Sensitivity 26:30 Suicidal Ideation Entity 34:13 Coping Patterns and Roots 39:50 Replacing the Escape Hatch 41:41 Purpose Is Being Here 43:48 Beyond Conversion Moments 44:47 Daily Weeding Practice 46:23 Suicide Stats And Midlife 48:57 Brother Loss And Biology 52:24 Systems Self Abandonment 01:01:27 Male Loneliness Epidemic 01:05:50 Meeting Our Own Needs 01:10:03 Disability Risk And Care 01:12:53 Try Many Supports 01:17:19 Grief Pleasure And Living 01:22:36 Resources Work with Meredith: fourthcupastrology.com Work with Sarai: saraijohnson.com

14: Ethical Shit Talk: JK Rowling and the Millennial Witch's Fraught Relationship With Harry Potter

Ethical Shit Talk--JK Rowling and the Millennial Witch's Fraught Relationship With Harry Potter CW: transphobia, sexual violence, partner violence, racism In this Ethical Shit Talk episode Meredith and Sarai dive in to the wizarding world of Harry Potter and J.K. Rowling's conflicted relationship with gender. Ethical Shit Talk requires that (1) you shit talk, (2) you turn the mirror on yourself, and (3) you only punch up. J.K. Rowling is the first billionaire author, and despite her background as someone who experienced partner violence and sexual violence, has chosen the path of violence (at least in her language) herself. If you are a millennial, the Harry Potter books likely came to you at a formative age (or if you are like Sarai, you might never have read the stories or seen the movies), and for many people these books framed how they see magic and even witchcraft. Through stories about the power of love and friendship, and a compelling John Williams musical score, the Harry Potter books gave a lot of millennials permission to explore magic and think outside of traditional structures. And, on the other hand, if you look closer, the stories raise questions about sexism and racism that have played out poorly over the decades. J.K. Rowling has consistently used male pen names, including the name Robert Galbraith, which is the name of the person who invented conversion therapy. Yet, J.K. Rowling has stated the belief that cis women should not be required to "call a man a woman," when it comes to pronouns. It's tough to know what pronouns to use with J.K. Rowling, so as cis women, we're going with he/him. In a 2020 essay, Rowling described believing that if the option was available in the 1980s, s/he would have transitioned to male. In 2024, cis woman boxer Imane Khelif sued JK Rowling and Elon Musk for cyberbullying, after Rowling accused Khelif publicly of being an abusive man and symbol of a "men's rights movement." In December 2026, HBO is set to release a new Harry Potter series, this time casting the incredibly cute Latin actress Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger and accomplished Black actor Paapa Essiedu as Professor Snape. While this may at the outset seem like a good way to correct the inherent racism of the original cast being all white, if you look closer, this raises many problems. First, this puts a young Latin actress in the position of being called a racial slur. Second, Harry Potter's father and his band of white friends hang Snape from a tree and generally bully him in flashback memories. This is bad enough when Snape is white, but it presents the white Griffendor friends as KKK members if Snape is Black. Worse, the story tends to make this seem like a childhood mishap instead of a horrific crime. We feel skeptical that the show will handle this thoughtfully given the landscape of the books. These are dark topics. J.K. Rowling's descent into TERFdom (Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminist-dom) and the concerns about the racism of the new HBO series are serious and real. Anytime someone is set up as an icon around a spiritual topic, they dissapoint. AND we had some fun shit talking this, so we hope you enjoy! For a full timeline of J.K. Rowling's descent into TERFdom, check out this article. We're not going to link to Rowling's discriminatory posts, but that article does, so make your own choices about whether to click.
