Former President Donald Trump visited a Pennsylvania McDonald's, claiming without evidence that Vice President Kamala Harris didn't work at the fast food chain while in college. He was also at the Pittsburgh Steelers vs. New York Jets game on Sunday. Meanwhile, Harris stopped at two churches in Georgia, hoping to convince Black voters to turn out. Claims of voting by non-citizens are part of a national Republican effort to challenge voter applications called "Protect the Vote," but Democrats allege it's a way to sow confusion. Officials say the number of non-citizens who've actually cast votes in federal elections is miniscule. North Carolina identified fewer than 50 votes in its audit of 2016. On Sunday, the last full-size Kmart in the continental United States closed. The retail chain first opened in 1899 and officially changed its name to Kmart Corporation in the 1970s. By the following decade, there were more than 2,000 stores nationwide. The retail chain later fell victim to competition from Walmart, Target and eventually online giants like Amazon. A dog captured the nation's attention after he was abandoned in chest-deep water before Hurricane Milton slammed into Florida. Allen has pleaded not guilty to the charges. In April 2018, in the Florida Gulf Coast town of Eastpoint, Aileen Seiden's beaten body was found dumped near a highway. The next day, a bloody motel room was discovered nearby. The back-to-back scenes prompted investigators to see if the two were connected.
