Ellen and Kathleen are spot on with the way they discuss the topics of marriage, sexuality, NFP, and tangentially raising kids. They always approach these topics with the right amount of prudence so it's never lewd, but are frank enough so that it's clear exactly what they mean. There are plenty of Catholic podcasters that tackle topics related to femininity and openness to life, but Ellen is one of the few who will get in the nitty gritty of the day to day applications of Church teachings on our vocations. I always appreciate her insight and fun approach to her podcast!

This podcast covered several topics I wouldn’t have known how to navigate or approach leading up to marriage. Sparked great conversation between my fiancé and I! Highly recommend (probably in the 4-8 weeks) leading up to marriage!

Until this last year it was basically my unofficial goal to learn as little about sex as possible, in keeping with the “purity culture” impulse. So when I got engaged I had a lot of ground to make up. The problem is that the messages about sex that most of the world provides are not the ones I want to follow or have my marriage colored by from the very beginning. I’ve done a lot of searching for authentic Catholic resources about sex and NFP so that I can love and care for my wife as perfectly as I am able, and while there are a lot of resources for the latter, resources on the former are almost nonexistent, and even fewer that are accessible/relevant for men. This podcast is the best and most practical one I have found (along with Dr. Popcak’s book, “Holy Sex”). The NFP discussions and explanations are certainly helpful as well, but it’s the direct approach to explaining various sexual issues, practices, tendencies, etc. that really set the podcast apart. I highly recommend to anyone seeking answers in living out married love to its fullest expression.

Seriously, this is such a great resource for engaged, newly married, and long time married couples. All my questions are being answered as I binge through these. Thank you!

This podcast has been such a blessing! I’m a 20-something newlywed but started listening to this podcast well before getting married and I feel like it has given me the tools to be confident, communicative, and compassionate in our sex life. Also when things get difficult (as they inevitably do) I can always rely on an episode to help me work through it and provide me with some peace.
